HAYDEN — In partnership with Kootenai Health and Multicare, Indigo Urgent Care will begin welcoming patients at its new clinic on Prairie Avenue on Monday.

The clinic is Indigo Urgent Care’s second in North Idaho and has served Coeur d’Alene and neighboring communities at its clinic on Ramsey Road since 2023. Indigo Urgent Care also has more than 40 locations across the state of Washington.

Kootenai Health EVP of Strategy Collin Furukawa explained that the Prairie Avenue location will allow Indigo Urgent Care to better serve those who live outside Coeur d’Alene's city limits.

“We don’t want folks to have to come into Coeur d’Alene unnecessarily for care,” Furukawa said.

In addition to rapid point of care testing for illnesses like the flu, strep and COVID, Indigo Urgent Care can also perform electrocardiograms, digital X-Rays and chest X-Rays on-site.

“Before your visit is over, we know what you need,” said Associate Vice President of Marketing and Communications Melanie Collett.

Collett also said that Indigo Urgent Care’s hospitality is what sets its clinics apart from the rest, as creating a comfortable, welcoming environment for patients is a top priority.

“We’re here to help,” Collett said.

Indigo Urgent Care accepts most insurance plans. Same or next-day appointments can be made online at indigohealth.com, and walk-ins are also accepted.

The new clinic is located at 151 W. Prairie Ave. and will be open Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Bookings for next-day appointments can be made starting today.
